This two-night festival of the Baroque will showcase some of the most tantalizing works from the period 1600-1750, a time of dramatic expression and vigorous, highly ornamented art. The music of Bach, Telemann, Rameau, Albinoni, Handel and others will come together to transport you to the world of the rococo. What was a typical concert of the time like? What was happening in the world outside? It was a period of scientific discovery and reasoning, a time of exploration and settlement of new lands.
